Post Climax Depression

Morning everyone. Four consecutive ghosters and I have no idea what time it is. The dawn chorus accompanied my descent into bleak slumber. I passed the tawny owls perched on the beech trees lining the road and welcomed the cackling crows who took their places.

Ahum. You ought to have seen my memos to management.

Good news.

There is one page to go on the catalogue and some editing to do. Give me two hours and then I'll begin the process of distribution. If anyone can tell me how to pin a downloadable PDF attachment to a blog I'd appreciate it.

I hope you like it. I've written six novels and, with the exception of one, Carla, I couldn't give a monkey's bollock what people think about them - five star or one star, its all the same to me- but shit, I really want you to LOVE this catalogue.

I've gone through a living, breathing descent into a fiery creative hell for this.

My unread classic "The Ritual" took three months to write and is over 650 pages long double spaced. It was a warm breeze from the San Bernadino Mountains compared to this.

Anyway, I'm off to finish. I wonder whether I'll get PCD - Post Climax Depression. Do you writers get that? Finish a book and then can't leave the sofa for a week? I hope not. Newbury races this week.

Take care, Mark.
